Ortgies question???

Just brought home an Ortgies serial 140052,when was it made??
It came with a holster. Will post pics later. What should the finish look like?????

Derek,
you have a pistol of the 5th and most common variant with the single-line address ( from about # 71173 to # 262724 ).
A great "D" is in the middle of the adress.
