Gents:
Haven't been to the forum in awhile. However, I am now helping a long time friend reallocate a pile of 9mm auto pistol holsters... with the biggest number being for either the P.08 or P38. I have a good idea about value on most, which typically rate very good to very good+. A number of holsters have only seen light a few times since the early 1980s and originally belonged to Howard Tokarsky. My goal is to receive a fair amount for these holsters, but also see them sold. If what I ask is acceptable for posting to this sub-forum and appropriate, please advise. I will then post a few photos of those holsters I have questions on...Thanks!

Any E2 proofed and marked "ALBIN EGER SCHMALKALDEN"?
These will be un-dated

Any E2 proofed and marked "H.EGER&LINDE SCHMALKALDEN"?
Dated 1936 or 1937?

Markings will be inside on both types.

I remember Howard " poision pen " Tokarsky fondly from the old NAPCA days.
His blasting of the " Dons of Lugerdom " for lying, cheating and faking to " Luger rape the un-suspecting " was priceless entertainment.

Wrote a remembrance here for him a while back.

I'd be interested in any P08 holsters that are depot marked. Also, just about any P38 holster.

In my original post, I requested some help in valuation for three specific holsters. I was unaware that they had to be for sale in order to solicit input from the forum members. Obviously I was wrong (other than one member whom sent me a PM and was very thoughtful in this regards). Am pulling the photos and will mark this up as a lesson learned...
BTW No, this is a pile:

I see NOTHING HERE to indicate you were only seeking advice on value.

I posted very specific details to see if any examples like that were in the " pile ".
If you had any I could have given you fairly current selling prices as I have bought examples of both recently.

Also if you had any of those I would have been tickled to have something Howie used to own.
I was indeed a fan of his.
I have items formerly owned by Don Hallock, Randall Gibson, Lee Kelser, Richard C Smith, Dave Molchen [ taudelt], Uncle Ernie, Jack D Reese, Franklin J Funk and others.
That means something to me.

Hope one of the lessons you learned was to be clear about only pricing already spoke for items.

You can only sell in the WTS part of the forum, you can see it after 25 postings.
I'd be interested in 1926 holsters, Waa18
Since I don't have anywhere near the required number of posts to do this per the Forum administrator, this was not going to be a option for me. I stated "I will then post a few photos of those holsters I have questions on...Thanks!". The holsters posted were the three I was soliciting help with... for which all I received was negative responses. Other than those, I had every intention of hopefully offering the remainder (including the three if that fell through) to Forum members.

What exactly is negative about this?
Thought I made it clear I have fond memories of Howie.
