Seeing that the overwhelming majority of postings have been a bit lacking with respect to the P.38 , I thought that perhaps some would enjoy a few examples from out of my collection. The holster is of the prominent object in this presentation, or so I am inclined to think. Perhaps others have a different opinion. Before the recent influx of German holsters from the Ukraine, there were only three of these holsters known to be here in the States but five more of these have since been imported . This is one of the five. Regardless, this is an extremely rare variation of a German Police P.38 holster from the Third Reich. It is thought to be an very late example which only appeared at the very end of the Reich along with or just before the softshell variation.
