Arch,
* Manufacturer's Logo of the firm Albrecht Kind,AG of Berlin & Nürmberg. Known by the shorthand term AKAH.
* The "leaf" or "bearskin" logo is seen intermittently on commercial, military, and police holsters.
* The "42" is the year this holster was made. The L/Hand lower corner has the numerals "19"; but, is usually hidden by the belt loop and/or stitching.
* If your holster is marked with the "P.38" and has an eagle over WaA###, it is a military holster.
* Trust this helps.
