Hello, everyone...
Saw a P-38 holster on ebay:hardshell, waffenamt, no date, p38 marked. Also numbers 0/0836/0029 next to waffenamt. Have the similarly marked holster at home..What do these numbers stand for? Any ideas?

Those are RBNr [R B numbers] and are the German equivalent to our contract numbers. It was used in place of the makers codes and appears very late in the war.

Recently, a bunch of holsters in like new condition with such codes were released from the Ukraine. they are just beautiful!
