Presented from out of my collection is an typical example of a silencer barrel pistol with its unusual ersatz holster. Trust this will be a learning experience and enjoyable one also.

129.52KB Of the two holsters observed, both had this feature of twin stitch holes approximately 5 inches long which neither appeared to have had anything attached to the holster. There is no indication of any feature inside the holster, such as for a cleaning rod. I have heard of a attached leather pouch for a silencer and at this time speculate that this is what it was for at sometime but appears never to have had anything attached. Comments ?!?

Huggiebear, Fascinating ensemble! Yes, It is a learning experience! I don't believe this double stitch line is a candidate for a silencer as a silencer would have to be quite large in diameter so would not fit anything sewn onto this. Just speculation of course. Might be an external cleaning rod case that was removed. Interesting. Jerry Burney
