Luke,Good morning
The image appears on my monitor in the right place, but dont know why no one else can see it.
Maybe a few bugs to work out or just need to get use to the new system.
Thanks

Hello Jan
The previous photo was taken from the propaganda magazine ( I Think it says the Great War ) on cover, Issue No. 19 / 1916
Maybe some other member can clarify the title. I cant tell for sure if the sword has a lions head or not. All the photos have captions in five different languages.
Each issue is about 40 pages with some very interesting period photos.
Thanks again and am glad to see you up and running again.
All comments or observations are always welcome.

I have figured it out. My firewall automatically blocks popup advertisements. Enabling popups allows me to see the picture.

Luke
I can see both pictures.

For anyone else using <<Zone Alarm Pro, version 4.0>> as a firewall: Open the program, go to the "Privacy" section, under "Ad Blocking" select "Medium." That seems to block most popup ads and allows pictures from this forum to automatically display.

Peace if possible; truth at any price . . . Martin Luther
I can see the picture, but it will not display larger image when clicked. Gives me a page cannot be found. But it's GREAT to be here and see Jan's Forum coming back up! Thank you Jan and all those involved.

I just need to manually change the http://66.70.9.216 to http://www.gunboards.com

{{that is the original designation for the server, now it is www.gunboards.com, so any earlier postings need to be changed to this to display pictures correctly)

I will do that in a minute, then check the pictures posted here.

Jan, that looks like a typical Ersatz bayonet for the G98. At least if you are referring to the short dude closest to the photographer. Looking at those guys, one things for sure, there sure as hell wasn’t a minimum height requirement for this unit.
