This is one that had been on my list for a while. This is obviously the 9mm Largo version. These odd ducks made by Star saw service with the Peruvian mounted police as well as in the Spanish Civil War. I test fired this one at the range and it ran through a couple of magazine loads flawlessly. The Palanco (lever) on mine is a little loose such that it doesn't stay up but from what I've read that's fairly typical.

I picked one up about 5 years ago. I was inspired by the work my son does, he is a Certified Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician and has several patients (with missing limbs) who still shoot. Mine is refinished as you can see...Bill

A very unique gun that achieved something few have, having a "family" of multiple calibers and sizes; something the Mauser 1910/14 tried. The Jo Lo Ar was produced in .25acp (also available without lever under a different name), .32acp, .380acp, 9mm Largo, and .45 acp. I'd be proud to own one, congratulations!
