I was at a local gunshow this weekend and put a deposit on an Eagle/C marked 1942 CZ-27. (Complete rig) Owner said it is much more rare than the Eagle/K, but when I got home I could find no documentation that an E/C even exists. Can anyone out there verify the existance of a police marking on the CZ-27 that would be E/C? Thanks for your help.

Tom, unfortunately there are no eagle C's on a P.Mod.27. One needs to do their homework first before applying down the duckets. If nothing else, take the book with you and don't let the gunshow jiggers get to you first. If possible, show it to a trusted person whom you know and have it checked out first. KNOW YOUR SELLER !!!!!!!!! Any honest seller will help you out . You probably found it as no one else wanted it. You will probably lose the deposit if returned but a cheap lesson can be learned here. It has happened to the best of us , only in those days it was much less money involved. IMHO.
