I want to locate a holster for my AC43 dual tone police P38. What marks do I look for? Is the eagle a WAa eagle or a police eagle and wreath? What other marks or construction make it police?
There are so many phonies out there that I hate to state what they should be!
The early ones were commercial and had a strap going UP thru a leather retainer. It should have an eagle with the letter 'B' on it's chest... some late style are brown leather and have an RBNr number.
I have also seen one</u> with an Eagle/F stamp.
Be Cautious!...it is a jungle out there!
