Luke,

I don't believe that is a PP/PPK specific holster. It could probably be used for either, but I think that it is a one size fits all or I should say fits any. A generic .32 frame sized pistol holster. Note the "2 Holer" strap, so it can be adjusted for most .32 sized pistols. It is a nicely made and well constructed holster. And would suit about any of the German, foreign contract and conscript pistols.

And to answer your question. A PPK will fit in a PP holster, but a PP would'nt fit a holster made for a PPK. PP's are longer.

Thanks, Ron.

That's about what I expected, but having no knowledge in this area it is good to hear from someone who does.

I,m like you Ron,I,d say the holster ie postwar for the simple fact the hold down is riveted and not sewn on.The Germans never made a practice of this until after the war.I don,t doubt it was for a pp or ppk as I have a wartime one made out of pig skin.I've thought about selling it, but the way this world is going I may have to eat it someday. I was looking at that one as well, and wondered if it was post war even thou it has that waffen stamp.I guess that strap just looked so differnt than what I had seen elsewhere.Pleased to see more seasoned collectors think it is,thanks. There was a pigskin ppk one on ebay briefly a short while ago, they, the ebay police, pulled it as the evil "N" word was used, quite dissapointed as I had already bid on it.
happy to see there stock tank every day as well.

Luke,
in general the PPk used a smaller (shorter) holster than the PP. Civilian holsters like the ones from Akah are ink marked inside flap like "Walther PP" etc. Military ones especially those Theuermann or drop holsters are also marked. But there are other ones out which you have to check from rub marks if theý used a PP or PPk. The holster listed on eBay is definitely intended for the Czech Cz.27 pistol. So the seller may not have known better or stretched it like you assumed. Regards Dietrich

Thanks for the help. I own two PPKs but no holster, and it is obvious that I have to get a lot smarter in this area before spending any money.
