I JUST BOUGHT A R.F.V.MARKED PP ITS ABOUT 80 PERCENT ORIGINAL FINNISH IT HAS SOME PITTIG ON BACK AND FRONT STRAP AND SOME REAL LIGHT SPOTS OF PITTING ON SLIDE HAVE TO HOLD AT AN ANGLE TO SEE IT TO ME THE GUN LOOKS REAL GOOD THE BORE IS VERY GOOD PLUS IT HAS LATE WAR WOOD GRIPS DOES ANY ONE KNOW WERE I CAN FIND IF NOT ORIGINAL GRIPS SOMETING CLOSE I WAS OFFERD A PAIR FOR 120 BUT THEY WERE CRACKED THOE THEY WERE ORIGINAL. I GAVE 300 FOR IT I SHOWED IT TO MY GUNSMITH HE TOLD ME HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SELL ME A MODERN USED ONE FOR THAT. IT HAS A UNMARKED HOLSTER POLICE STYLE CLOSER STRAP LOOKS LIKE MY TYPE3 1944 P38 HOLSTER BUT UNMARKED. HOW MUCH IS IT WORTH. THE MAGIZINE HAS WALTHER BANNER PP 7.65MM. THE FRONT STRAP IS MARKED R.F.V. 12479W. SO HOWED I DO. THANKS RONNIE

sorry about the caps. posted on p. 38 foram under pp. book says in fair 400.standard catalog of military firearms by ned schwing.i found some markings on holster.not on back but on front under strap here they are eagle WaA933 oakleaf with 9 in center date 1943 at base does any one know who made it. thanks
