Hi Guys,
I don't know if this is the proper board for this question but here it is. Years ago, I bought a beautiful Radom in its holster with a spare magazine. Inside the holster (in German script) was the mans name....Oberfurher Borgmann. An Oberfurher is sort of a General in the SS. The gentleman I purchased the rig from had brought it back with him. I wrote to Bob Whittington about getting this guys SS record and he sent me to the Records Archive of the SS that the Americans were holding in Wiesbaden. (They have since been turned back over to the Germans). I was informed by those people that they needed "more information"!! How many SS Generals with the name of Borgmann, stationed at Radom Poland could there be!! Could any of you guys put me in the right direction?? Seasons Greetings to all!!
