I picked up a crummy Red 9 Broomhandle today, it was in this stock (missing the iron). I am doubting this is actually a Red 9 stock as I can see Mauser stamped on the wood.

This also came with a very nice model 1930 English owners manual so I am guessing the stock may be a model 1930.

Clarification would be appreciated, if not for the Red 9 I will put up on e-bay.

Definitely not for Red 9. It seems that it was sanded at one point as the Mauser logo is weak...

If it has a Mauser logo(which I can't see), then it's for a 1930 commercial. I eliminated it being a snellfeuer stock when I couldn't see any grooves cut for a detachable mag base.

Jim, I can confirm by the hardware and the lid inletting that it is M30 stock. It has been refinished and varnished. The attachment iron also appears to be missing.

Regards,
