I have seen several late war PP's with Red grips. I'd like to gather info on these so would appreciate serial numbers and other info that we might be able to gather. I've found several in serial ranges 330,000p to 331,000p. One was waffen marked and one police marked. Please provide some serial numbers and info so we might be able to see if there is a pattern to these. Also, any theories on the red grips?

I have a PP with the red bakelite type grips, serial #3237xx. Both the frame and slide have a "reddish" hue, making quite an attractive pistol. It is a commercial variation, lacking either military or police proofs.
