The tiny spring under the takedown lever of my Luger broke. I have installed a replacement spring, and I can insert the lever into the left opening. But I cannot get the lever to enter the opening on the right side of the gun. The fit is very close and the spring is pushing it slightly off. I do not want to break another spring. Any Luger gunsmiths out there know how to do this properly?

All you need to do is apply a little pressure upwars on the takedown lever and she will slide right in. No pun intended.
