Guys,

I recently acquired this rig and really don't know that much about holsters. Is this holster correct for the gun? It looks like the mag pouch is not cut right for the mag. However the leather has an indent as if the mag has been there a long time.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Yes, indeed , it would be a correct variation of a holster to be with a RFV Walther PP. My example has the very same maker but only in 1936 being the difference. Inaddition, mine has a die metal stamp impression of R F V placed on the inside of the main flap in an upside down position. Very difficult to see. Look at yours !! Nice rig you have and maybe even as good as mine.

Very interesting!

On further exam, the serial number of the gun is written in green ink on the inside flap. No die metal stamp. Above the serial number are a few numbers too faint to make out and next to the serial number are a few letters. It will be very difficult to take photos of such light markings.

Thanks.........
