Hello
Here is my SA C96.It's a standard NS identical to the German issue ones, except for the lack of the military inspection proof(a Gothic letter with crown)on the right side of the chamber. The s.n. has an
halo around the digits, differently from all the C96 I've seen.
The stock is a standard military WW1 one, also without the Gothic letter-crown near the hinge(as the German military ones have)
The harness is a "standard" Finnish one modified for keeping the cleanig rod.The standard pattern is also shown. Both are marked with a logo consisting in a crocodile and H:KI and H.FORS scripts.
The pouch on the harness is not for the spare follower spring as in the German WW1 pattern but holds a filled clip(very difficult to take and pull out.
