Hi! Please excuse my ignorance, but is there a way to remove the safety lever of a Luger? Isi s made removable, is there a way to remove it... I see a pin holding it inside the pistol frace, but do not want to try anything before hearing the opinions of the experienced... Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much, Patrick! It worked very easy! Unfortunately I had to remove it to clean well it back side and the surface under it, too much rust. Went out very easy!

Thank you for your comments! It's 1916, all matching - even the spare magazine has matching number, unfortunately the mag that was loaded has the bottom part broken by the stupid people who found it!!! Story - none... Sofia, Bulgaria, found a couple of days ago hidden in the wooden floor of a house that is being reworked. Cheers, Theo

The maker: /by the way, it is rust mainly on the cylinder-handle... whatever it is called... What you see along the edges of the parts turned to be mostly grease and dust :)/

All that was found - the right side fortunately is much better!

Kebap,

What a neat find! "...hidden in the wood floor of a house that is being reworked.." is as much story as I was hoping for. One can only imagine circumstances under which it was hidden.

"cylinder handles" = toggle knobs.

This is a terrific find, congratulations. It will be fascinating to see pictures of this Luger once it is cleaned up.

Sure! I don't think it will be too much better... but at least a little! :) I'll show pictures when ready. /yes, I'm unexperienced with pistols, but would rather leave some parts not well cleaned, but not to damage them. Using only thin oil and cloth to fight the rust and dust, and not to the grips, removed them first/.

Greetings, Theo
