I had one once with the same kind of grip panels. I was led to believe that they were Franzite reproduction grip panels. Have you removed the panels and looked for any markings on the inside of other side of the panels?

I have a post-war, commercial, CZ27 with Franzite grips on it. They are similar to these in coloration and are actually very attractive.

The grips (brown), as shown in your attachment, were made by Franzite of Chicago in the 1960s and 70s, and so marked on the back side.
I saw in the late 60s some white S&S repro grips here in Germany. They were poor made, when I remember well.

Amen to that Bob! Sauer grips are famous for cracking and breaking, and the available aftermarket replacements are only fair to good. Anyone have a source of REALLY good Sauer repacement grips?
