Does anyone know if Sauers were ever issued with the trigger "in the white"? The gun I'm looking at is Eagle/37 proofed; serial #4469xx.

That sounds like the 'Zinc' trigger which would be perfectly correct for that time period according to Jim Cate's excellent book on the Sauer pistols!

May we have the complete serial number?

Thanks for the information.

I would be happy to post the full number but I don't have it. Just a couple pictures and the number in my previous post.
