I've been collecting lugers for 50 years and this simson has a capital letter B at the end of serial number NOT the small letterthat I"m used to seeing? does the capital B increase the value of the weapon? and what could it mean?

I have answered your questions before. Your Luger looks like an East German police rework. I do not know what the "B" signifies and do not think it adds to the value. Because I do not often get to gun shows or buy and sell guns I usually do not put a value on them. I guess $400 would be a starting point.
