I recently purchased a blank chamber Simson Luger. The blueing appears to be a rust blue with about 50% turning brown. The chamber area appears to be ground down and polished before blueing. I am curious to know if Simson Lugers were ground down like this in the factory and would this Luger be considered a rework?
