I have a Simson that is all original except for the magazine which is a WW2 mag. numbered to the pistol...I did read in some book,I think it was in one of Jan's books that this was a WW2 re-issue.Can't find the book now,can you tell me what book and page this was in??

David, this is kind of an open question, if you can't find the book, then giving you the book and page would be useless? 
I am sure that someone can go through all of their books for you, and find the info you need, but the info you need is what? That the magazine is a WW2 mag and so the gun is a re-issue?
If it is a Simson, then they were made just right before and slightly during the Nazi era, so the book, Weimar Lugers would fill that role. I would guess that Third Reich Lugers would discuss simsons also.
