In my travels I have come across a Simson that I can buy. I have no idea of its value as I concentrate on Imperial Lugers only. The pistol is serial number 7777 with a blank chamber and blank toggle. It has eagle6 proofs all over the damn thing, I mean everywhere. It is original and probably in 99% retained original finish. The magazine does not match. The pistol is beautiful. What is the max I should pay for this pistol?

A blank chamber and toggle serial number 7777 Luger with E/6 stamps all over it does not sound like a new manufacture luger. I have never seen a new mfg. Simson sneak. They are all DWM mfg. in the "s" "t" and "u" serial range. More likley it's a Simson rework of some sort. However, it sounds interesting and may be worth between $1000 and $1600.(More if really Simson new manufacture.)
