I have a type 2 I believe,I have tried to load it with my repo loader from simpson to no avail.The small pin on the side of the mag seems to not go in all the way, so I loaded one by hand then I pushed in on the pin with the nose of another 9mm, now i can lock the loader in place. It seems my reloaded bullets are too long, Ive tried seating the bullet further into the case but still they seem to hang up. If I do get it to work what is the handle on the drum used for? Also does this type mag require a shorter 9mm cartridge?I have no problem feeding any other 9mm mags uzi, mp40 and c96. And they all fit ok.

That did the trick.i loaded 22 rounds then ran into kind of a bind should i have once again wound the lever handle on the spring winder,one more turn?

SO do i just keep packing them in.i cycled the 22 thru the luger working the toggle by hand just seemed kind of stiff after 22 rounds of loading

It was a two man job.or i needed a third hand sort of like the time I changed the main spring in my arty.

I tried double clicking the loader if it apeared stuck on last round loaded ,worked better was able to load five more 27 total.Would you suggest taking it apart and cleaning,outer surface is dent free with no rusting of metal surfaces
