Siege of Oviedo, North of Spain. 1936.
A city Defender with a P08 pistol in his hand.
Probably the only known combat photo of that gun during the Spanish Civil War.

Interesting pictures. The Spanish had an arsenal at Oviedo where many of their Mauser rifles were made.
That's right
Most of the small arms and light weapons for the Spanish Army since 1794 to 2012 were produced in Oviedo.
Rifles, pistols, revolvers, submachine guns, machine guns, CETME....
Oviedo is my city.
