Hi Jan:

On the left side of the slide of Steyr Hahn s/n 6603C it says both "Steyr 1912" and "Mod. 1911" - I suppose you'll want a photo. The front sight comes right up out of the slide as on a Colt 1911 or the way the front sight comes out of a C-96 barrel. It's made from the same piece of metal and not fitted (dovetailed) in as a separate piece.

Hi Jan,

12918(no suffix) dated 1918, W-n eagle 18
Slide, frame and barrel are marked with a crown over BNP. Frame also has an illegible British cross sword proof with maybe a “R” or “B” in the 3 o’clock position. Barrel chamber is marked “9M/M .752” and “15 TONS PER” followed by a square. I assume the square means “square inch”. The pistol is chambered for 9mm Steyr despite the “.752” chamber marking.

Hi, am new to this site, but have a m-12 with some information that I would appreciate anyone with knowledge replying with your thoughts.

Mine says STeyr 1915, sn 6167h, WN 15 with I assume a double headed eagle, though I cannot tell. On the left side of the lanyard ring it says RA 9 and onthe right side it says 19. What does this all mean?
