Hi Collectors!
The last zoom meeting was pretty awesome. I think everyone is enjoying our “face time “ . As mentioned in last meeting, both Justin and I have some summer commitments in the month of July. With this in mind, we will have our next meeting Saturday, July 30 at 11 AM EST. We have generally been having the meetings every two weeks. We will resume the two week schedule after the next meeting. Thank you so much for your patience and participation.
I will be working hard on some new presentations and research. As always, anyone who wants to make a presentation is more than encouraged to do so. I will send out some updates as we get closer to the meeting. Have a great month!
Thanks ,
Jason

Good day, Jason,

I haven’t logged on in a while, so it’s the first time I’m hearing of the Zoom meetings. Are they open to all members, including international?
Yes ! We have our meetings Saturday at 11:00 am EST which should cover a reasonable start time for most . We usually do it every two weeks but this month is slightly different. We have tons of info and prizes . I will post more info and a link to join in the week of 7/25 . Last meeting we had three accomplished Luger authors , nice crowd to learn from . Hope to see you

Hello Collectors!
I hope summer is treating you well . It’s time for another zoom meeting! This Saturday 7/30 at 11:00 am EST (NYC) . It’s show and tell with a twist, we get information and insight from top collectors around the globe . Personally I have been studying hard and working on a few presentations at the moment. 🤗
If you have a love or interest in any collectibles , please feel free to share them on the zoom . Send me a DM/PM if you have any questions or need help .
I am working on prizes , and we will have a nice random drawing.
Hope to see you all then !

Jason S L is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

I'll be there, have really enjoyed meeting everyone. I have met a number of folks in person and this is a bit easier and cheaper than flights :)
That said, next month I am driving to the Portland Oregon, Arms Collectors Gun Show, and he has a table.

Many of these books come from old, specialized, collections. I noticed a lot of stamps from mr. Erlmeier, author and specialist collector of handgun cartridges.

I also found this little gem, business card of the first Oberndorf museum curator and offspring of Mauser's Feederle brothers. Mr. Ferdinand Feederle. From some 50 years ago.

One of the weirder books in the lot was this one. A 1974 PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization) aircraft and tank recognition guide, printed in Beirut.

Now that is a nice dedication!

I just finished the inventory of the books.
71 in total, including 2 thick folders on the repair of camera lense locks.
If anyone knows Alfred Gauthier GmbH in Calmbach a.d. Enz in Germany, let me know.

Many are research copies of rare books, but nicely bound in hardcovers. It is truly a researcher's library. I'm happy.

I am surprised Joe Wotka sold his book?
As far as I know, he is younger than me? Has an extensive collection of paper!
Helped me on both books, decent guy.
