I recently acquired a 1917 dated Swiss holster with straps. The straps have a piece riveted on which forms a loop. What was this for? The same straps are in Bender's and Walther's books. Also have a 29 holster with a set of straps on it that are lined with a brownish felt. Is this comnmercial? Thanks for the help.
