OMG that is off the charts cool. I'm all giddy from my recent Artillery purchase, but the carbines are just an object of lust for me. Who knows, maybe one of these days...

I'm pretty sure those photos are in violation of the forums pornography policies ;)

Real sharp!! I’m not really a carbine guy but that is a nice rig, I know it’s frowned upon by many but I think I would have to shoot it just once.

Clearly a fake. Please send it to me so that I can dispose of it properly.

Thank you.

I once went to a private residence in Columbus to look at a '66 Win. in 38-55 (???) I ended up buying a mediocre condition 1920 Carbine and an MP 40. There was a really nice one of these available from a Balto. MG guy about 6-8 yrs ago. He seems to have disappeared since. I believe its serial suffix was ??99 or ??66. Trigger was a renumber.

A carbine is one of my "grail" guns. I cant ever keep my eyes off them at gun shows where they appear, even though I have a ways to go before I could even afford to try and finance one.

I paid Ralph Shattuck only 7k in 2007 in payments~

Even the lesser desired Weimar era carbines command double that or more nowadays. The OG carbines with dished toggles are worth as much as, or more than, NFA registered machine guns.

In the meantime, I have more pressing things to finance like a new car and some property in South Carolina for my new wife and I to move into once we get down there and look around some more. But I still buy a lottery ticket now and again, just in case I get a lucky one to finance a rapid collection expansion. ;)

Quintin, are you heading to Louisville?
John, unfortunately, I will be missing the show this year. But don’t worry about me missing it as I won’t be too sad about it, my wife and I just got married this past Friday and our flight to Puerto Rico for our Honeymoon leaves Wednesday morning. Even Luger Carbines can’t/won’t keep me from that! Pretty though they may be, she is more beautiful and important than all of them put together.

Though speaking of Louisville, does anyone know if the July scheduled show will be the new norm moving forward, or will they resume the February show dates starting in 2022?

Don't know if I'll ever own one, but I did get a chance to shoot one all the way out to 300m. It was a hoot!!
