Inside only.
Just a different angle .
Will try and post pics of the other marked type that is a bit more common.

You willing to do a forensic exam of Dons old gun? If yes start a thread something like " forensic exam of 1941 HK 11799 .
I have most of 11795 in clearly original finish to help compare things with.
Never saw this one but Lee Kelser let me look real close at his at a NAPCA show in KS years ago.
Nowdays loupes have lights so much easier to see.
These guys can no longer defend themselves, but I will try and showing this guns soul to the world should put this witch hunt to bed .

ADDING
Alien if you are interested 11795 is here in numerous places to include thread " HK 11795 WHAT IS IT" . Well it was there still back in the cobwebs last time I looked.
Pics there to compare to and a list of markings.

BTW the frame front is CLEARLY not messed with and has the big 7 CENTER digit just like all 117xx guns I have ever looked at.
Regardless of date .

There was a thread asking for info on 117xx guns here. Would like to add yours if you do not mind .
This is of course after looking it over but I trust Dons judgment on these.
Well no comment on the 1945 but he got rid of it.

Alien,
Since 1941 guns are so seldom seen this is a real treat .
Does your gun have the star on right side of rear strap under grip?
Does it have a 1-2 or 3 digit number in front framewell?

Really would help if you could note
What parts have serial and E2, Please note type of E2 and if large or small type
What parts have E2 only
What parts have serial only
What parts are un-marked.
Of course pics would help

Pics of backside of grips to see what type.
Probably type 5.

Thanks a bunch:)(y)
Dave
