I am faced with several choices..and I have not really focused on one particular type. All pistols are in very good condition, Bergmann .32 missing one grip, Kommer pocket pistol..no external serial# , $275, Unique .32, $295, and a Berretta 1934 Romanian contract $475, Sauer 38H $450, FN Mod1920 Nazi proofed $325 The Bergmann is $119..the others are probably above market value . I know the info is vague but I am wondering if one of the mentioned is more desirable? I couldn't get much info on the Kommer pocket pistol. Cone Ten

Of The above mentioned pistols, I woud say the 38H, although pricey in "good" condition, to me would be the most desireable. The Kommer (which model?) is a very well made pistol, but nothing spectacular although not seen that often. There is a 6.35 and a 7.65. The 7.65 is the rarer I'm told. The Roumanian contract Beretta is interesting although I think that SOG recently imported quite a few for a much lower price. The Unique is nice especially if it is Nazi proofed, i.e Model 17 or a "Kriegsmodell". A don't know what Bergmann you are talking about. T. Bergmann marketed a pistol called the "Einhand" (one-hand) also called the Lignoise. If this is the one, it is possible to get grips for it. The other Bergmanns are really expensive and quite scarce. Except for the price, if the 38H was in nice shape (late War are kind of rough), I woud opt for that one. I hope this rambling helps a bit!! Good Luck choosing. Remember, as many collectors will tell you, If it is a common pistol, get the best finish you can buy....they appreciate more!!!

The import mark,"Armamentos Wpb Fl 380acp Italy" is usually on the barrel.

I'm very curious about the Bergmann .32. I sometimes see Bayard Model 1908's erroneously described as Bergmanns. It that is the case, I can get you a grip or probably would want to buy the pistol myself.

If the gun is actually a Bergmann PB Special, buy it immediately.

The pistol is about the size of a Mauser 1914. It has a black grip with BERGMAN embossed . The finish is about 85% and it does have the mag. The bore and action are very good. I searched for grips and they are available for about $30. I will check it out in a couple of days and write down all the proofs etc. Thanks for your input. Cone Ten

My apologies..this is a .25 pistol. I called the shop for more info and was told it is stamped "...GAGGENAU THE ODOR BERGMANN
WAFFENFABRIK SUHL CAL 6.35 D.R.P. Small proofs are an arrow S and a "stop sign" with a bullet in it and a cross on top and an N." I am going to look at it tomorrow.. thanks again for the information. Cone Ten

The pistol has a SN#5954. It has an 8 round capacity magazine. I found the "Vestpockets" site and it resembles the Model 3 LIGNOISE. For $119..I feel I must go ahead and get the pistol since the grips are available and the condition is very good. Thanks, Cone Ten
