If this thing is accurate, this will be a huge help. I hope some of the more seasoned members will comment on this. I've been looking at a luger which has a unit stamp on the front of the grip strap and it was opined that in may have been a 'Flieger' designation (an 'F' in the middle of the numbers). This site suggests that it would in fact belong to a Field Telephone unit.
