Unusual marking Garfield? Is it yours, not a lot of 1910's around.

What do you find unusual about the markings, Ed? The markings are for the 5th Ulanen Regiment, Eskadron 4, Waffe 13. And Yes, it is mine.

Nice pistol Garfield. Both looking at Noll's book and my own experiance suggests that 1910 saw a preponderance of P08s go to cavalry units. In the same manner, alot of 1911s are marked to Train units.

It seems to suggest that the army had set priorities as to what type of units would get the new pistol first.

Garfield, I meant that you don't see Ulanen (or I don't at least) very often. Very nice gun, I am glad you could show it to us.

I have an brown 1910/11 dated Reichrevolver conversion in excellent condition; unfortunately, it is marked to the 6th Ulanen Regiment, 4th Eskadron.
