Hey guys,

This is not your run of the mill Luger snail drum loader; can anybody help with identification?
The spring and loading mechanism is weird and the construction is particularly rough.
I'd like to know exactly (or even approximately) what I have before I put it on Gunbroker.

Thanks much,
Steve in Arizona

Unloader. Reportedly (depending on what you want to believe) used by the Weimar police. They used MP18's with the snail drums. Apparently they were dumber than a box of rocks, since they had to have two sears added to their Lugers to keep from shooting themselves.

Hey, you have what looks like a Prussian Witt Unloader for the MP18 snail drum magazines. Does it a Prussian police acceptance stamp?

Thank you, Greer! I appreciate the information greatly.

Thank you, Ron. I posted this question on two forums and emailed a third Luger expert not knowing if I'd get any answer at all; I was happily surprised to get an answer from all concerned.

Thank you again for responding!
