Hello,

I have a double date Luger, 1918-1920. On the strap is the marking:

11./J.R.20.33

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Robert, I believe the marking would be interpreted as the 11th company of Infantry Regiment number 20, weapon number 33. It was most likely built in 1918 and property marked by the Reichswehr in 1920 or later. I'm sure I speak for many here in asking to see some photos.

Where in Virginia are you?

Hi, thanks for your responses. I am in Fairfax, right outside of DC. I don't have a digital camera, but a friend does, so if I can get him to bring it by this weekend, I will post a pic or two.

Thanks again.
