The unit mark on this training rifle is a SA Gruppen from Pommern, the number 10 indicates the Strun and the number 8 is for the Standart. The set up of the letters an numbers are a bit different then what we are used to. The letter is the German state [group], the Standart[/i] is the larger unit in that state [group] and the 10 is the smaller local unit.

This insignia on the rifle is the SA sign.
