I have a 1913 Erfurt P08 and am curious to find the meaning of the unit markings: Gr.Kdo.2.95.
Above the G and upside down are: 74.
On the backstrap on the stock lug is: 6.27.
The 6 is twice as large as 27
Thanks for any help on this one.

Your 1913 Erfurt is marked according to Reichswehrministerium orders dated 1 November 1922. Gr.Kdo.2.95. signifies: Gruppenkommando 2. weapon no. 95.
