When Vickers finished the parts for assembly of their Dutch Luger contract, were the usual small parts strawed or blued? The photos in Martens & de Vreis do not show this well--they may be strawed, but i'd like to hear from someone who knows.

When these guns were refinished in Indonesia, were these parts strawed or blued?

A Vikers is shown on page 297 of Weimar Lugers. The small parts are strawed. The few other Vickers that I have seen were strawed.
