The vz24 holster in my other post came with a gun inside it, I'm happy to report. It's a 1928 vz24 with two sets of unit markings on the front gripstrap. The first set, 16P420, has a thin line through it. The second set is 4H434. In the appendix of the only book I own about Czech pistols (Know Your Czechoslovakian Pistols by R.J. Berger, 1989), the author says that P is infantry, and H is mountain infantry. Is this info. accurate?
