Howdy, If it's in really good condition,as you say. It could be worth $800.00 to $900.00 or more. Don't quote me on that, but I've seen a real nice one sell for more. The Eagle/C indicates that it's a police issue. Desirable to collectors. Subject to the buyer. Is the Eagle over the N straight winged(stick wing)WarTime? Or do the wings droop, Pre-War? Get photos!!

I think Ron is about in the ballpark with his estimate of value. It all depends on condtion. If it is a police E/C with and E/N proof and a high polish specimen it would be roughly in the serial range 2867xxk to 3574xxk. I would say a true 95% specimen would be around what Ron suggests maybe a bit more depending on the area of the country. However, I saw a 98% specimen bought for $1,600 by a collector back at SOS/NGD in Louisville in February with a very excellent condition police accepted holster. Say a couple hundred for the holster so you are looking at around $1,400 for the pistol. Anything above 96/97 percent and the value really begins to escalate. If it were a early high polish E/C with C/N proof and 95% I would say the value would be in the $1,200 to $1,500 range and a really nice say 98%+ early PPK police pistol would probably value out in the $1,900 plus range.
