Dear Friends:

Could someone please advise what P38 this magazine belongs too.


It is double stamped with eagle over 359 on the base of the spline. Also stamped with serial number 6837+ on the left side of the magazine just about the base plate. The base plate has no markings. Magazine is wore but in good shape. I would say 85-90%. Seems to have a dull finish.

I would think that it belongs to the 3rd issue zero series.

* Hope everything is secure and untouched by IVAN where you're at. I know it is a big state; but, I've a little prayer said for ya to help things along.
* May be mistaken; but, I thought a P.38 zero series mag had the leading zero on the mag as well. I would have thought Geo's mag came from a 480 code P.38 pistol.
* I'm presuming the 2 eagle/359's are side by side and low on the mag spine. Also, a "P.38" is not stamped above the mag's S/N. Is this correct George?
