Picked up good solid Menta yesterday on gun show. At first sight it looks just like any other Menta/Beholla/Leonhardt I had over the years. Then I tried to disassemble it for cleaning (it was dirty as hell) and was very surprised...
Usually on all Beholla-family guns even on Stenda you have to push barrel back after removing pin(pushing down Stenda latch). On this one you have to lift it up! Barrel and frame is way different from what I used to...

Also found few minor differences with standard gun. Firing spring stop made as separate flat piece, firing pin spring has fork insert to fit over spring stop. Also it is 6 groves on the slide instead of usual 7

Very neat little pistol. My Beholla has the barrel that slides back for removal. Yours reminds me of the early Berettas and the way their barrels lifted straight up for removal...Bill
