Well.......,
Since I've taken the Frommer-STOP plunge and acquired two of the Imperial German accepted pieces, I'm thinking maybe I should now get a "standard" WWI A-H proofed piece.
The one I'm considering is marked Bp-sheild-sheild and no date, serial number in the 120,000 range. Wood grips.
I'm assuming that this would be a WWI piece.
IS THIS CORRECT?
It has about 50% blue remaining, with the rest faded/worn into patina. Grips are nice, and in character with the metal. VG condition bore.
I can get this for $220 out the door.
What do you think?
Regards, Ned
