I'm wondering what this Unit mark stands for. I've checked the archives and nothing was obvious (its a hard item to search). Photo attached and I would appreciate any information.

(I see L.M.K> stands for Leichte Munitions Kolonne)

Ok researching further I see that L.M. could also be for "Landjagerei Munster" , Prussian Rural Police, with the 59 being a property stamp and the 26 a weapon number? Reading "History Writ in Steel" would seem to confirm this and LP08's were issued to the rural police. Am I on the right track?

Well, finally think I may have found the unit to which this 1914 Erfurt was originally issued. (before the Finns rebarrelled it, it was an LP08)

Any comment would be appreciated.
