It would most likely be a Military Erfurt 1911-1918 that was subsequently put into the commercial market after the war. They are not uncommon.

 

If it is an Erfurt and there is no chamber date, the date has been removed.

 

We would need to see a picture to be sure, mixed parts guns are very common, some make great shooters

No barrel date, the underside of the barrel has the correct serial number, and it is toggle marked Erfurt.

The gun has been refinished and the chamber date removed.
