surprisingly, the most info I've found on dating these guns is here, rather than any browning/FN forum I've seen
I've got an FN 1910 in 7.65, serial number 10441, with the proof mark *E
I've been able to identify the marks using this, including the Controller of Proof Code showing it to be made between 1924-59
is it at all possible to narrow this down further with the serial number?
Thank you for any info you can provide, I'd love to learn more about these guns!
